Sikelelwa Clara Sodlulashe Mwenze
Founder & Managing Director Sikies Transport & Projects
In 2004, Mrs Sikelelwa Clara Sodlulashe took on her first project: 100 housing units in Palm Springs for Thubelisha Homes. Entering an industry that didn’t expect her, she delivered.
That project led to the co-founding of Motaloi Construction, which she grew across multiple developments. By 2012, she launched Sikies Transport & Projects, inspired by her work with the South African Women in Construction & Built Environment (SAWIC&BE), with a mission to deliver quality infrastructure while creating opportunities for women and youth.
Today, Sikies is a fully compliant company with a portfolio exceeding R36 million, working with clients like Transnet, Basil Read, Group Five, Balwin Properties, and the Gauteng Provincial Government—built on experience, discipline, and inclusive impact.
